WHAT IS AN ADVANCED TRYOUT?
An Advanced Team tryout is an evaluation session for 7th–8th grade players interested in earning a roster spot on a Resilience Select Advanced Team.
Players are required to attend one tryout session, but may attend both sessions if they choose.
WHEN ARE TRYOUTS & DO I NEED TO ATTEND?
Advanced Team tryouts will be held September 23–24 at Youth & Family Link in Longview, WA.
Registration is required, and all players interested in an Advanced Team must attend one tryout session, including returning players.

Sep. 23 @ 6:30–7:30 PM &
Sep. 24 @ 7:30–8:30 PM
BOYS
Sep. 23 @ 7:30–8:30 PM &

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT & HOW ARE PLAYERS SELECTED?
Players will participate in a structured tryout, including:
- Warm-Up
- Skill Evaluation
- Offensive & Defensive Concepts
- Controlled Mini-Games — Players will apply and execute concepts introduced during the tryout.
Coaches will evaluate each player’s overall skill set, basketball IQ, competitiveness, decision-making, and coachability when making roster selections.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER TRYOUTS?
Results will be emailed following the tryout.
Players selected for an Advanced Team will receive an access code by email to complete registration and secure their roster spot. First payment is due September 29.
Players not selected for an Advanced Team may be offered a Competitive Team roster spot, based on roster availability, or may attend our Skill Development Opportunities.

FINALIZE REGISTRATION
Players selected for an advanced team will receive an access code by email to complete registration, payment, and finalize their roster spot. Players not selected for an advanced team may be offered a competitive team roster spot, based on availability.
