
Randall Jackson
Director
Jackson played basketball his freshman year at Fresno City College (CA), where the team won a California State Championship. He played one season at Lewis & Clark College (OR) before transferring to Point Loma University (CA). The team was ranked in the top 25 (NCAA Division II) his junior season. Unfortunately, his playing career was cut short due to injury.
After his playing career, Jackson spent one season on the men’s basketball coaching staff at Greenville University (IL). The team finished second in the conference tournament. The following year, he became the head assistant men's basketball coach at Lewis & Clark College (OR), where he spent five seasons. He coached six All-Conference players, two All-Region honorees, and two 1,000+ career point players. During the summers he led Nike youth basketball camps in Portland, OR.
One of Jackson's greatest passions is mentoring students and athletes. He emphasizes the importance of recreation and wellness, and how these areas can positively impact overall well-being. While at Lewis & Clark, he taught physical activity courses each semester. In addition to coaching, he served on two diversity and inclusion committees.
Following his time at Lewis & Clark, Jackson served as the Director of Roots Sports Academy in Longview, Wa for two years. He is now entering his second year as the Director of Resilience Select.
Jackson graduated from Point Loma University with a bachelor’s degree. He’s finishing his Master's in Education (coaching emphasis) at Greenville University est. '25. He is deeply committed to supporting the community and fostering growth, resilience, and a positive mindset in others.

Jessica Johnson
Assistant Director
Coach Jessica Johnson attended Capistrano Valley High School in Mission Viejo, Ca. Johnson was a (4) year varsity basketball player. During her senior year, she won league MVP and posted a career high: 22 points, 11 rebounds. During the summers, she played aau basketball for team “OC Elite”, an Adidas sponsored program in Orange County, Ca.
Johnson enrolled at Point Loma University (CA) where she received a scholarship to play on the women’s basketball team. Johnson contributed to her team’s success, helping them reach the Conference Championship and the 2nd round of the NCAA Division II tournament. Johnson’s love for the game led her to coaching, where she has made a lasting impact on youth athletes.
Johnson has worked with several programs. She began her coaching career with "Team Nikos" in Orange County–the #1 feeder program for high school basketball in the area. At Nikos, she coached multiple elite teams and led advanced skill development training. Johnson then moved on to Roots Sports Academy in Longview, Wa. At Roots, she continued developing youth athletes' skillset.
Now in her second year as assistant director for Resilience Select, Johnson is more focused than ever on instilling not just basketball skills but also a holistic approach to health, wellness, and sustainable living. She believes that physical and mental well-being are the foundations for achieving personal goals, both on the court and in life.
Johnson graduated from Point Loma University with a bachelor’s degree. Her goal is to empower athletes to become well-rounded individuals who thrive in all areas of life.
